1. About this policy
This policy explains how KICKOFF Sports Bar, part of SSC Hospitality Group, handles personal information when you use our website and app, create a guest profile, contact us, or use the match finder.
2. Information we process
If you create an account, we process your account email and authentication information. A guest profile includes your first name, last name and date of birth. The match finder stores your messages and team or league preferences. We also process information you provide when contacting us. Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, usage events and diagnostic logs.
3. How information is used
We use information to provide and maintain accounts, save profile details, respond to enquiries, personalize match searches, operate the app and protect against misuse. Applicable grounds for processing may include providing a service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, legal obligations, and consent where required. Where consent is relied upon, you can withdraw it by contacting us.
4. Service providers and external services
Base44 provides app hosting, account and data services. Match-finder messages and preferences are processed by AI services to generate responses; avoid submitting sensitive information. Reservations open SevenRooms, which handles information you provide under its own policies. Google Maps and links to WhatsApp, Instagram and fixture websites may involve processing by those providers under their own policies. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights.
5. Storage, retention and security
Personal information may be processed outside Nigeria by our service providers. Applicable safeguards are required for international transfers. We retain information for as long as necessary for the service, legal obligations and resolving disputes. Security measures reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Deleting an account does not necessarily remove information held separately by external reservation or messaging providers, or records that must be retained by law.
6. Cookies and device storage
The app and its providers may use cookies or local storage to maintain sessions and support service functionality. Embedded third-party content may use its own cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary storage may affect sign-in or other features.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update your guest profile and request account deletion from the Profile page. Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Children and policy updates
Our account and sports-bar services are not intended for children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and address it. We may update this policy as services or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the latest version.
